Rebecca started her dance training at the age of three in the style of creative dance. As a student she enjoyed performing in numerous concerts, cabarets, competitions, conventions and Rock Eisteddfods.

Rebecca began her teaching career at age fourteen as a student teacher under Lily Cotronea in the style of Jazz and she immediately knew that she wanted to pursue a future career in dance teaching. She completed her teaching qualifications in Classical Ballet, Jazz and Tap. One of her proudest moments was graduating as the first person in Victoria to complete the British Ballet Organization's Diploma in Dance Teaching passing with Distinction. Rebecca is also a qualified secondary school teacher and has run successful dance programs at various Melbourne schools.

Rebecca loves teaching dance and enjoys the challenges and variety that each discipline brings. She also enjoys mentoring her older students who want to become dance teachers. Rebecca hopes to pass on her passion for dance to her students and enjoys seeing them progress over the years. As one of the original students of Lily's Dance Students (joining in 1990), Rebecca loves to challenge her students to reach their personal best and is known for her strong attention to technique.
